Pillie Privacy Policy

Effective Date: May 31, 2026

1. Overview

Pillie (“Pillie,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is a lifestyle reminder app designed to help users stay consistent with daily routines. This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use Pillie and what choices you have.

2. Information We Process

Pillie is designed to keep your routine data on your device.

Information stored on your device may include:

We do not require account creation to use Pillie.

We also collect limited product analytics telemetry to understand whether core app flows are working and where users drop off. This may include app launches, onboarding progress, paywall actions, permission prompt outcomes, tab selection, settings area opens or saves, and coarse feature usage events.

Product analytics telemetry does not include private routine details, reminder values, app-blocking selections, adherence values, or free text. This means telemetry does not include your contraception method, regimen, cycle day, reminder time, reminder interval, supply threshold, taken or missed history, pain point selections, goal selections, miss-frequency selections, app-blocking app or category names, calendar percentages, advertising identifiers, or account identifiers.

3. Notifications

If you allow notifications, Pillie schedules local notifications on your device to remind you about your routine. Notification content and related reminder metadata are managed locally.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your routine data with third parties for advertising.

We use PostHog to process product analytics telemetry. PostHog is used only for first-party analytics and not for targeted advertising, cross-app tracking, or data brokerage.

We may disclose information only if required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.

5. Third-Party Platforms and Services

Pillie is distributed through Apple platforms (such as the App Store and TestFlight). Apple may collect information under Apple’s own privacy policies. Pillie does not control Apple’s data practices.

Pillie also uses PostHog for product analytics telemetry and RevenueCat for subscription management.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Your in-app routine data is stored locally on your device and remains there until you delete it (for example, by resetting the app data or uninstalling the app).

You can opt out of product analytics telemetry in Pillie’s Settings. Opting out stops future analytics events from being sent from the app.

7. Children

Pillie is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will address the request.

8. International Users

If you use Pillie outside Canada, you understand that your use is subject to applicable local laws. Where required, we will take steps to comply with relevant data protection obligations.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above.
